The Assiniboine Watershed Stewardship Association has wrapped up its annual poster contest- this year we focused on the theme "Water and Wildlife". The poster contest was open to grade 5, 6, and 7 students. They had an opportunity to win several prize packs locally, with the first place poster having a chance to be judged against other top posters in SK for the Grand Prize of a $1000 Cabela's gift card. 1st Place:Congratulations to Kaynan Gervais! Kaynan is a Grade 5 student from Yorkdale Central School in Yorkton. 2nd Place:Congratulations to Calista Hester, grade 7 from Foam Lake Composite School. 3rd Place: Congratulations to Belen Reed, grade 6 from St. Michael's School in Yorkton.
