2014 Watershed Poster Contest

The Assiniboine Watershed Stewardship Association has wrapped up its annual poster contest- this year we focused on where our water comes from, with the theme being, "Groundwater-Below the Surface". This year it was open to grade 5, 6, and 7 students. They had an opportunity to win several prize packs locally, with the first place poster having a 1 in 10 opportunity to also win the provincial Grand Prize of a $1000 Outdoor Sporting Gear Package custom chosen by the student themselves!

1st Place: Congratulations to Mya Desmarais! Mya is a grade 7 student from Yorkdale school in Yorkton. (Mya's poster placed 2nd provincially- a tremendous accomplishment)

2nd Place: Congratulations to Kareena Lukinov, grade 7 from Yorkdale school in Yorkton.
