The Assiniboine Watershed Stewardship Association is once again putting on our poster contest. This year it is open to grade 4, 5 and 6 students. They will have an opportunity to win several prize packs with the first place poster having a shot at the Grand prize of an Ipod Touch, $50 iTunes gift card, and a $1500 education bursary.

We would very much appreciate you forwarding this on to all the appropriate teachers so that all students have a chance to enter. We have attached the necessary information and documents to submit the entries.

We had great success when the contest was last held in 2010, receiving a total of 169 entries, with the provincial grand prize winner coming from our watershed! (Click HERE for more details).

*** NOTE: Jesse is available to come do in-class presentations about watershed ecosystems at the request of a teacher. From past presentations, teachers have expressed that this greatly helped their students get ideas for their posters and was quite educational. Do not hesitate to ask! ***
